David enters his first season as the head coach (2011) after being an assistant coach for ten seasons with the Nipissing University women's soccer program.
He joined the Lakers staff in the Fall of 1997 as the head coach of the women's indoor soccer team which he led to its first OCAA silver and bronze medals (1998, 1999) . After a one year absence in 2000, David rejoined the Lakers and has been actively involved with the program ever since.
David played varsity soccer for Nipissing University in 1998 and 1999. David was selected the teams co-captain. He was also a member of the Lakers men's indoor soccer team and was named MVP in 1997 and 1999. David obtained his degree in Business Administration and Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University.
David is a level 3 NCCP certified coach, is a candidate for the provincial "B" license and a level 2 certified referee.
Vito Castiglione

After 10 years at the helm of the Lady Lakers soccer program Vito has decided to step down as the head coach however he will remain active in the program as an assistant coach.
Castiglione has been the only head coach in Lady Lakers history since the teams inception into the OUA in September 2000 however he will be taking a reduced role with the team to spend more time with his family.
Under Vito's direction the Lady Lakers made the playoffs during the 2004 season, a first in Nipissing's short history.
Vito also coached the Nipissing University women's indoor soccer team for two seasons (2000-2001 and 2001-2002) and they captured a Bronze medal at the OCAA Championships in 2000-2001.
Vito is a level 3 NCCP certified coach, is a candidate for the provincial "B" license and a level 3 certified referee.
Vito played forward for the St. Joseph Scollard Hall Bears for 5 years in which the team captured 4 NDA titles and 4 NOSSA crowns.

Dan enters his third season with the Lady Lakers as an associate coach.
Dan a level 3 NCCP certified coach brings a wealth of coaching experience to the team. Dan has 8 years of club coaching experience with the North Bay Youth Soccer Club and Armstrong Park Soccer Club.
Dan's club coaching experience ranges from girls teams U11 to U18. Dan has led the squads to numerous international youth soccer tournament.
The club team attended the Gothia Cup in Sweden which is the largest youth soccer tournament in the world and Dan led his squad to a B side championship. The team also attended the USA cup and lost in the quarter finals.
Dan's experience and strong knowledge of the game make him a valuable asset to the Laker program.

Carlo returned to his roots at Nipissing University in 2010 where he earned his BBA (2004) and his B.Ed (2006) while playing five seasons for the Lakers men's varsity soccer program.
Carlo has stayed active in the soccer scene playing in the men's North Bay premiere division while coaching at the high school and club levels as well as instructing at the Nipissing University youth soccer camp.
He is a Level 3 NCCP certified coach and is a candidate for the provincial “B” license
Carlo's experience and knowledge will be a great asset to a blossoming program.
