Eric Yung enters his second season as the head coach of the Nipissing Lakers.
Yung, a five-year dual-sport athlete in both OUA soccer and OCAA volleyball at Nipissing, was a three-time OCAA all-star and named Nipissing's athlete of the year in 2005-06 and 2006-07.
Yung a 5'10" left side hitter had his best campaign in 2006/07 when he averaged 4.36 points per game leading the team to an 8-4 regular season record and an OCAA Provincial Championship appearance.
Yung earned both an undergraduate business degree and a bachelor of education from Nipissing.

Mike joins the Lakers men’s volleyball program in 2010-2011 as an assistant coach.
Mike has been coaching volleyball at the high school level for the past 8 years at G. Theberge School in Temiscaming, where he is also a Physical Education teacher. Mike has also been coaching with the North Bay Youth Volleyball club for the past three seasons.
Mike graduated Nipissing University with a business degree and also completed his Bachelor of Education.
